No conspiracy but just poor, selective then even-up reffing through out.

Well, they haven't yet.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Leicester definitely don't dominate matches - they play on the break almost exclusively. But fair to say they are doing something right, unless you want to put their success entirely down to luck.

In terms of penalties given in a small sample size, there will always be a spread to the awards. The only bizarre phenomena would be if there were no anomalies at all. So reading too much into any of it is probably pointless.

Over the prem league era, you'll find that the clubs that have dominated the league (and stayed in it!) have more penalties. Which is entirely what you'd expect.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Leicester have had ten penalties this season.

No-one else has had more than six.

Wouldn't say they dominate matches. More like Vardy runs into the area from a long ball looking for contact.

>>> Around a month or two ago, I'm sure I saw some stats for teams awarded penaltys at home. Top teams so far were the Man U, etc etc all the biggest clubs.

Of course it wouldn't be unusual that teams that tend to dominate matches get more penalties. Man Utd have had 2 penalties (of their 3) given at home this season - hardly an outlandish figure.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Right so there is a conspiracy to keep us out of the UCL because;

West Ham fans like a ruck
It's bad for the EPL on the co-efficients
It's bad for TV rights if Man Utd aren't in it so should be helped to get there ahead of us

Anything else?

Anyone who thinks that there is some agenda to stop us needs to give their head a fucking wobble.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
I would not be surprised at all to find out in the future the FA had a campaign to keep us out of the Champions League.

Sadly the reputation goes before us and the threat of out fans giving it out in europe has sacred them even if it is bullshit. The europa league is ok cause it's so low profile but the champ league is global and under the media spotlight like no other so that's my thoughts on it.

Craig Pawson on saturday had an agenda. i can't think what else it could have been for him to go about the game the way he did.

Their defender was the other side if the centre circle.

We would have won the league and been in the final of the FA cup by now.

Fucking well out of order.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Really? i didn't see a single Sunderland player in their own half while Vardy was a couple of yards in. The defender must have been out of shot on the footage I watched, if that's the case.

Mad Dog 2:58 Mon Apr 11
Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
I thought that at first, but Sunderland defender was playing him on.

El Scorchio 2:57 Mon Apr 11
Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Vardy was offside for Leicester's second.

Slightly academic I know seen as the three points were theirs already, but he was the only player in the Sunderland half FFS.

Whilst I completely agree, I even said to somebody if we go 1-0 up we could of gone on to lose, that's why I wasn't too dissapointed with a draw after being 2-0 down.

Just hypothetically I would like to see a table if all the results at least stayed the same when a card was given and the goals allowed/disallowed were correctly given.

Re: Dodgy decisions....When will they even out???
Hammers1993 1:41 Mon Apr 11

The same applies to goals too. If an incorrectly disallowed goal were to go in, the strategies of both teams would change and the game might be entirely different from what we recognise. It's impossible (and pointless) to just take disallowed goals and add them to a game's score afterwards.
